How to Volunteer with the Friends
Contact our volunteer coordinator to let the friends know of your interests. Also, when you fill out your membership form, check off volunteer opportunities that appeal to you. Our membership chair will contact you with more information. You are also welcome to attend our next meeting, contact us for the time and location. You can also pick up information about the Friends at your local library.
The Friends is a membership organization. Members receive notices of library news and events, and are invited to special Friends Programs. Being a Friend is fun and rewarding, please see Membership Information for details.
As a Friends volunteer, you can help improve our libraries for all of our citizens. Volunteer jobs range from one-time committments such as hosting the admissions table at one of the gardens on our annual garden tour or providing food for an event, to ongoing service on the board of directors. If you are interested in programming or event planning, there are many opportunities with the Friends. Your volunteer committment can be tailored to your level of interest and schedule. The Friends is entirely volunteer-run–so all efforts are appreciated.
